That in pursuance of the powers conferred on it by Section 31 of "The Counties Act 100S" the Council of the County of Taranaki on the petition of a majority of the Ratepayers of the Waitara West Road District possessing in the aggregrate not less than half the rateable value therein resolves by way of Special Order that on and after the 30th day of September 1018 the aforesaid Roßd District shall be merged into the County of Taranaki and the Board thereof abolished.
