DAIRY COMPANY MEETINGS.

TAKE! Following is the annual report of the Tariki Dairy Co.:— 'Cheese made at the central factory during the year amounted to 245 tons 11 cwt. 1 qr. 12 lbs,, of which IG4 tons 1.) cwt 2 qrs 27 lbs was made up to Slst January. The Rugby Road branch was opened on Ist February, and Oti tons 11 cwt 3 qrs 22 lbs of cheese was made during llxe five months ended on 30th June. Total output, 312 tons 3 cwt 1 <ir. (j lbs. Advances have been made of Is 3d per lb of butter-fat for the season, and it is proposed to pay out another 3d at the annual meeting. At the date of balancing there were 2,802 cases of cheese in the freezing works, and it is proposed to make further payments as these are shipped and the balance of money is available.

The special deduction of Jd per lb on Tariki supply, and Id per lb on Rugby Road supplies of butter-fat fcavo been charged to the year's working, and the necessary adjustment of payments to the respective suppliers at each place will be made later.

Additional cool storage accommodation having become absolutely necessary, 51 more shares in the Taranaki Producers' Freezing Works Company were taken up during the early part of last season, and on these shares a call of £5 per .share has been now paid—£2ss. Still further accommodation being necessary, this company is called upon to take up a further 102 shares, and the Money to pay for these shares, £IO2O, has to be found in the course of the next «velve months. Provision will have to be made to cover the £255 already paid and also the calls'oil the 102 shares.
