BOROUGH OF NEW PLYMOUTH. is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the New Plymouth Borough Council held on the sth day of August, 1018, it was resolved (by way of Special Order) that the New Plymouth Borough Council make additions and amendments to By-laws under "The Municipal Corporations Act 1908" and under all other powers which enable the said Council to make and amend By-laws the object and purport ot which additions and amendments are as follows:
Altering Part XIII and amendments thereof relating to the Abattoir, and handling of meat, amending charges for slaughtering and dressing of stock, and fixing charges for meat taken into the chiller. Repealing By-law 1321 and substituting provisions for cutting off Electricity supply when accounts unpaid within certain fixed period. Repealing subsection 5 of By-law 344 relating to carriage of passengers on motor bicycles. '
The said resolution will be submitted for confirmation to a Special Meeting of the Council to be held at the Council Chambers in Liardet Street, in the Town of New Plymouth, on Monday, the 2nd day of September, 1918, at S o'clock p.m., at which meeting the day of the coming into fore; of the Kaid additions and amendments to By-laws will be fixed. A copy of the said Special Order and Additions and Amendments to By-laws is deposited at the Office of the Council in Liardet Street aforesaid, where the tame will be open for public inspection during office hours until the said Confirming Meeting is held.
