For Australian States, South Africa, Ceylon, I India, China, Japan Straits Settlements, Pago Pago, Samoa, and Honolulu (per s.s. Riverina, froiu Wellington), at C.15 a.m. [ FRIDAY, AUGUST 23. ; For Tonga, Samoa and Fiji (per s.s. Talune,. from Auckland), at 6.1 sa.m. Money orders, registered letters and parcels close one hour before the ordinary mail. The public are earnestly requested to register all letters containing money or valuables intended to be sent by post.
