By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, last Night,. Anti-cyclonic conditions have ruled, with fair weather generally, but the pressure has decreased in the south since yesterday, and rain has been reported to-day in the West Coast and southernmost districts. Variable breezes have prevailed, hut moderate to strong north-wester-lies predominated since Sunday evening. Present indications are for strong find squally westerly winds, changing to southerlies shortly. Expect cloudy and unsettled weather, with rain following generally, and snow oil the higher levels. The barometer has a falling tendency, but Is likely to rise In the south soon.
