PATRIOTIC WORK.
On Friday the 10th. afterrfoon tea will lie served at tho Women's Patriotic room, St. Aubyn street. . Will friends kindly bring a -handkerchief, as a gift to be enclosed in the Christmas Parcels, now <being made up for our brave nurses at the front and hospitals. Women value these things from other women. Send a word of kindly greeting with tho giftFriends of soldiers will have the opportunity of giving their gifts for the Christmas parcels on - Saturday, when Wbaceo, cigarettes, tins of milk, honey, jam, sweets, meat paste; in fact anything in tins will 'he thankfully received by the lp.dieg in charge in Devon street-
The Mayoress is arranging the supper for the returned soldiers' dance, which is being held in the Coronation Hall on Friday, -3rd hist. Will all friends of our soldiers "who are willing to help with donations or gifts of cake and pastry (not spoon dishes), kindly ring up telephone Xo. 90. Gifts will he sent for on tho morning of the dance. .
