The quantity of frozen meat in store on June 30 last was 11,000,000 cubic feet. Beef occupies three cubjle feet per freight carcase of $0; lb. " The killings for the rest of this year are expected to amount \$ 1,470,000 cubic-feet, judging by last year's figures. It is anticipated that during the next .four months there will be available 5,500.000 cubic feet of insulated space, and of this 3.800,000 cubic "feet will be used for meat. There will therefore .be 5.<J70,000 cubic feet of meat in the stores at the end of the year. >
