Present indications are for high and squally west to south-westerly winds; weather dull to overcast; rain probabio generally, with snow in tho south and on higher levels, and colder weather following; rivers high in west coast and southern districts, and heavy seas on all western coasts. The barometer is rising everywhere shortly.
