SOMES ISLAND ESCAPEES.

EMERGE FROM HIDING. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, August 12. The four German irfternees on Somes Island who disappeared mysteriously in the early hours of Friday last were found in the barbed wire enclosure on the Island at 7.30 to-day. Ndne of the officials saw them make their reappearance. The men wore very hungry and very cold and had lieen hiding under the floor of the building in which they and other internees had been quartered. It is believed they moved some flooring boards in order to get under iiio structure. They are now lodged in the cells on tho Island pending an inquiry into the circumstances of their escape. Tho lilertp of the other internees is being restricted.
