It was the wise picture patron who attended early at Everybody's Saturday evening as many of tho late-comers wero unable to secure admission. The chief attraction was the starring appearance of popular Alice Brady in "The Gilded Cage," a suspense-nllecC etory from the World Film studios. Miss Brady is supported by a strong east, including Irving Cumniings, Montague Love and Arthur Ashley. It is a vivid and wonderful story full of tho play of naked passion, with love and right victorious. Tho chief feature on to-mororw's new programme is the Mutual de luxe feature, "High Play," a powerful drama of finance and the struggle that daily surrounds tho fight for wealth and success. William Russell stars in this picture and he wil soon be * popular idol with picture goers. THE EMPIRE. NORMA TALMADGE IN "PANTHEA" TO-NIGHT. '''Panthea," an absorbing film event, is tho best of the picture themes at the Empire theatre to-night. ''Panthea" is a dramatio tale of the doings of a wife, and it makes a brilliant first production for (he company headed by Miss Norma Taliuadge. This well-known actress runs now a company of her own, and she has taken with conspicuous success the name-role in tho picture. The tale was originated by 'Moukton Hoffec, and has been adapted for screen purposes. It is well filled with exciting moments and line dramatic scenes, it verges on melodrama often, but there is pathos, and love, and hard bargains driven, and all these variations of the motive work together to build a nigli interest round the story.
