Mr it. S. Hasell has donated a box of balls for the mixed foursomes golf match to be played next Thursday. Entries close to-morrow.
At a meeting of returned soldiers held in Inglewood on Friday evening, presided over by Lieut. A. Smith, it was decided to take steps to establish a soldiers' club in Inglewood. and the following committee was elected: Messrs 0. Boldt, Brown, Enacegirdle, 'Bishop, Beauehamp, Oodd, Stimpson, Price, (Harold, Gyde and Chapman. The last named was appointed secretary pro tern. A further meeting is to he held next Saturday. There were numbers of intending patrons who could not secure admission to the Empire on Saturday night to see the always popular Charlie Chaplin in ''The Count." To give the disappointed ones another chance arrangements have been made to screen this film again at Everybody's to-night.
