FARM AND DAIRY.
PEDIGREE JERSEY' SALE AT MOTUNTJI ON MONDAY NEXT, Mr, J. C. Davidson's well-known pedigree and grade Jersey herd will be dispersed on the farm, Motunui, on Monday next. The catalogue comprises 70 head of pedigree female cattle and 10 pedigree bulls, and, in addition, there are 20 very choice grade Jersey cows. Mr. Davidson, through increasing labor troubles and ill-health, must relinquish dairying, and has therefore instructed the auctioneer to sell the whole line without exception, absolutely without reserve. The principal sire used on this herd was Peggy's Campanile, the handsome son of the infered! Magnet's Bby cow Magnet's Peggy, who is also the dam of Lady Peggy, a heifer which holds a semi-official record of G.301b of butter fat on her second calf. The cattle are all ,in fine condition, and Mr. Davidson will truck any cattle purchased free of charge at the Waitara railway station. Motor-ears will run from any of Mr.. King's offices on the morning of sale. Intending buyera are invited to book seats 1 early.
