CHURCH ARMY HUTS.

To the Editor. Sir,—When I made the appeal through your columns for the £SOO to provide a Church Army hut for our boys at the front, I trusted to the generosity of my friends in Taranaki, and I am thankful to say that my confidence was more than justified, for I have received the sum of £692 10s 9d to erect the hut and also towards furnishing it. 1 now desire most gratefully to return my thanks to all those who have responded so generously, and to say how much I am encouraged by their action. I am deeply indebted also to the proprietors of the newspapers, who gave me every assistance in their power. The money will be at once cabled Home, and in a short time our boys will be enjoying all that the hut can give.—l am, etc., F. G. EVANS.
