THE GARDEN. WHAT TO SOW IN IT. Well now, let's go on with the garden and do our little bit to reduce the high cost of living, both for our country and ourselves. If all availble ground is not dug up and sweetened, it must be started soon. Then what shall we plant in it? Well, there's a choice of whatever you fancy. Carrots are very easily grown and useful. Cooper's "Major" is splendid—coreless, a beautiful color and tender. There is nothing finer anywhere, but we stock all the sorts worth having. In parsnips, Cooper's "Model" is unrivalled —beautiful shape, mellow and buttery in flavor. Cooper's turnip-ahape parsnip is very useful for shallow soils and dry climates. It is so easy to dig and prepare for cooking. All other classes of seeds are equally gcod. Nearly all the principal prize-takers use seeds supplied by Cooper's, either in packets or bulk. Ask any of them as to the genuine quality and true value. We get dozens of letters each season telling us how well "Seeds of Success"— Cooper's Seeds—do in all parts of New Zealand.

Mr. T. Webb, the famous prize-taker of Palmerston North, writes and says: "The best parsnips I ever had were from Cooper's Maoriland-grown Parsnip Seed." Insist upon having Cooper's New Zea-land-grown seeds—the "Seeds of Success."—!'. COOPER, LTD, .Wholesale geed-GrowereiJVelUagtoa, "
