HAWERA DEFEATS JATEA. _A team of fourteen men from Hawera j'isited Patea on Wednesday, and an enjoyable game resulted ill a win for the visitors by eight games to three, three games being halved. The visitors were hospitably entertained.. The results were as follow, Patea players being mentioned first:—Butcher beat O'Callaghan, Pulley lost to Walker, Gilbert and Sutton all square, Thompson and Elliott all square, Jones lost to Ryan, Harrison lost to Cox, Giligan and Page all square, Grainger lost to Pratt, Williams lost to Salmon,. Colquhoun lost to Lewis, Walker beat Suisted, Saunders lost to Duffill, Harden beat Wallace, Hamel lost to Gibson.
