Thij selection of all the best pictures makes ic possible to screen a programme including Charlie Chaplin, Ethel Barrymore and Helen Holmes, each in a separato star attraction on the one night, and such is the material from which the programme for this week end has been arranged. The favorite comedian, Charlie Chaplin appears in his Mutual comedy, "The Count." Ethel Bar-ry-more in the great Metro comedy success, "The American Widow" and Helen Holme 3 in the thrilling Mutual special, "A Lass of the Lumberlands." Jo-night-will be the last opportunity of viewing the powerful dramatic programme introduced 1 at Eervybody's last night On this fine selection Gail Kane is prominent, m the big Mutual de luxe feature, ''Souls in Pawn," a gripping and realistic drama of a woman's determination and influence for good or evil. There is also a. good dramatic story of a well-to-do young man who marries a theatrical star against his peopies wish, and in this picture, entitled "The Dancer,'' winsome little Vivian Rich is seen to good advantage. The light side of the programme is supplied by an uproarious comedy, "Her Painted Pedigree." COMING TO-MORROW. OLIVE THOMAS IN "LIMOUSINE ■LIFE." To-morrow and Friday this popular little lady will appear in her best picture to date. "Limousine Life." The story runs ail the way with one wheel over the edge of a precipice. It leaves the speed limit sitting in the dust scratching its head, and just when disaster seems certain you get the most joyous, wiiimsiciii humor. THE FISK JUBILEE SINGERS. TO-NIGHT. The Fisk Jubilee Singers will open a two-night season to-night at the Empire Theatre The Fisk Jubilee Singers have earned a worldwide reputation, not so much perhaps on account of the merit of their performance, great as this undoubtedly is, but because of the unique character ol their entertainment, which charms by its novelty in method and the quamt, sweet music of the old plantation songs, whien haunt the memory for long after they have been once heard. A deep religious fervor breathes through inuny of the melodies, but the coons are a simple-hearted, joyous folk, whose broad humor is always near the 'surface and never long restrained, even on serious occasions. It is some years now since the company visited these shores, and they are certain of a warm welcome here. Miss Belle Gibbons, the lady baritone, so well remembered by 1 her phenomenal voice, is still a prominent member of the company, and the ..musicis in the capable hands of "ProfessorvC. A. White.
