Aye Ready 9.0. DECISION IN IBEX CASE. Ohristehiireh, Last Night. The New Zealand Racing Conference lias received advice that, the judicial committee of the Manawatu Racing Club, after further investigation of the Ibex ease, have disqualified A. Hall (trainer) for a period of five years. In connection with this case, under part 33 of rule I of the Rules of Racing, all horses known to be owned by K. Hal! ; at the time the alleged offence was eom- ' milted are also disqualified. It would, therefore, appear that the horses Turangapito and Ibex are also disqualified I as the result of this decision.
At the annual meeting of the Auckland Racing Club, the chairman stated that during the four years of the war the club had contributed to the revenue as follows:—Totalisator and dividend tax, -092,170: hind tax, £2874; amusement tar. l , £S9O; income tax (one year only), .C-Hl3: making £9o,4oopaid into the public accounts.
