■' A CONTINUATION ADVOOATKQ, By Telegraph.—Press Association.. Wellington, Last Night. The Eon. D. H. Guthrie announced to a deputation last Saturday that a proposal had been made to him that the reuiqsition of meat should be continued until the expiry of the wool commandeer. Since then, a reply had been received from the freezing companies showing that the companies were almost unanimously in agreement with the proposal, only two declaring against it. Mr. Guthrie expressed the opinion that if the Imperial Government could be induced to extend the requisition, it would be in the best interests of the Dominion.
