QPUNAEE RACING CLUB. The annual meeting of the Opunake Kanng Club was held on Friday evening, and was fairly well attended, Mr A. pood (president) being in the chair. Giving to the increasing amount of wjik and the growing importance of the dub, it was resolved "to raise the secretary's salary from .-CSS to £125. •Mr Young brouotut up the question of increasing the charge at ttV kwn gates to 7s Od, and also of reducing the number of complimentary tickets issued. After some discussion, both matters were referred to the eonnrokice to deal with Messrs F. Carter and A. Mitchell w?re elected members of th* club.
