THE AUSTRALIAN TURF.' Received August 4, 5.5 p.m. Melbourne, August 3. The Australian Hurdles, 3% miles, resulted: Fastolf 9.1 (Cairns) 1, Rosyth 9.4 (Moihara) 2, Pistoller 10.9 (Thompson) 3. There were twelve starters. Pistoller and Narahquong made the earlier running, and the last-named led along the hack of the course, Ferrignite taking second place at the top of the hill. Fastolf was then third. Narahauong led Into the straight the second time round, with Obi, Wallalo, Rosyth, Fastolf, Coronatus and Pistoller In that order. In a good tlnlsh Fastolf won by a length and a-half. Time, 6mln 32% sec.
