The atmosolierii- pressure has continued low and unsteady in the south, and high and squally west to south-west winds have prevailed, especially in the far north and the south, and along the coast. The weather has been fair in the east coast districts and about Cook Strait, but unsettled and showery generally elsewhere. Present indications are for a westerly to southerly wind, stronpt to gale, and changeable conditions, with heavy showers, particularly In districts with a westerly aspect. The barometer is unsteady, but. with a rising tendency elsewhere soon.
