The winds from ail points recorded blew with great force and velocity. High, gates were recorded on 7 days. Thunder-storms were- recorded on 9dayj. Hall fell on the lowlands oa.ll days. Extremely fine snow was observed In the air In New Plymouth on 3 days. Bapidly driftingaqueouß clouds, or cloudiness, ranged from li on 2 days to 10 on the 6th (sunless). Notwithstanding the numeruos storms and dairyfrequency of passing cloud masses the sunshine recorded, as will be noted, recorded a. good daily averago sunshine.
