ON THE SEA.
A FIVE-HOURS' FIGHT. ESCAPE OF A TANKER. Received August 1, 5.5 p.m. Washington, July 31. An oil tanker that arrived at an Atlantic port reports having had .a fivehours' fight with a U-boat, 600 miles off the coast.' The U j boat fired 200 shots. The tanker replied, and finally escapcd. — Pres 3 Assoc.
