RAIDS ON GERMAN TOWNS. Received July SH, 9.50 pm. London, July 30. The Air Ministry report states:—Oh the night of the 29th we attacked tine railway stations at Offeaburg, Rastatt, and Baden. We also attacked Stuttgart and Solisgen. We bombed and machine-gunned tihree aerodromes, also bombed the railway station of Offenbuxg by day with good rewrite. We shot down three aeroplanes, one other (being uncontrollable. One British machine is missing. Sir Douglas Haig'a aviation report states;— Despite mist, we dropped 11 tong of bombs on dumps and ballets, and destroyed 14 aeroplanes. Two of the British machines are missing. We bombed, at night, Bray and Bapaume, and all our machines returned?—Aus--N.Z. Cable Assoc, and Reuter.
