There was a good attendance, and everything sold at satisfactory prices. The best dairy cows sold at from £ls to £l9, others (more backward) £lO to £l4 10h, horses £ls <to £33 10s, weaner calves .-£3 5s j farm implements and sundries sold at ruling rates.
Manaia.—Forward and storo cows £3 to £ll 10s, small store cows £o 15s to £7 IDs, boners £3 to £'s, weaner steers £2 2s to £3 10s, heifers £2 1o £2 10s.. At Okaiawa, on Wednesday, we held a cleanlier sale on account of Mrs E. Ross. There was a cood attendance, and ev-vrvthing sold well. Tho dairy cows sold at from £lO to £lO 10s, and the sundries sold at ruling rates. On Thursday, at Opunakc. Elt'ham Road, we held a clearing sale on account of Mr. A. J. Crawford—dairy cows and sundries. Buyers wero present from the surrounding district and We report a good sale. Best dairy cows sold at from £ls to £lO 10s, others £1(1 to £l4 15s. heifers sold (o £ll'. hones £IR to £2(l. At Te Roti, on Thursday, we held a clearing sale on account of Mr. Kelly. There was a large muster of buvers, and a most successful sole was held. The herd consisted mostly of Shorthorn in good condition, and were keenly competed for. The best cows sold at from £IS to £2(5 10'=, others more backward £lO to £l7 10a, 100 cows averaged £l7, bulls 24gns to SSgns.
