After ranch discussion, it was decided to ask the two companies to provide the storage and charge Is a head extra, which would cover the cost, and this arrangement would place all the farmers on the same footing, whereas, if the farmers found the means direotly, only those who contributed would have the right to the space. A committee w»3 set tip to go into the matter further. The same meeting discussed the proposal of Mr. E.. JTewinan, M.P., regarding the disposal of the profits from commandeered wool surplus in England. The meeting- decided to express no opinion, as it is not known whether the Tool is dealt with, or whether there will he any profits. A meeting of the Farmers' Union excctitive discussed wheat prices, and deoided to ask the Government to fix the price at 7s, instead of a minimum of Gs and a free market.
