The Karamu completed the discharge of lier eargo, and sailed at about H a.m. yesterday lor Greymouth, direct. THE RARAWA. The Rarawa arrived about 9.30 yesterday morning from Onehunga. She brought passengers and landed 21S tons of eargo, and. returned to the north again last night.. THE BADEN POWELL. The Baden Powell arrived early yesterday morning from Wellington, with about 110 tons of cargo. She completed the discharge of her cargo, and sailed at 0.30 p.m. for Weatport. THE NGATORO. The New Plymouth agents for the Ngatoro adviso that the vessel has left Wellington for Xew riymouth, via Wanganui, and is expected to arrive here this morning, at about 10 o'clock THE KAMONA. Advice lias been received that tho Kamona left Westport at 11.30 a.m. yesterday with a eargo of 700 tons of coal and 1718 bags of coke, for New Plymouth. She is coming via Wellington, and is, therefore, not expected here before Tuesday nest. THE CORINNA. IThe Corlnna sailed from Lyttelton at 4 p.m. yesterday for New Plymouth, via Nelson. The vessel has 650 tons of cargo for this port, and Is expected here early in the week.
HOUGH VOYAGE OP BREEZE. Dunedin, .Tulj- 26. The steamer Breeze arrived to-day, after a tempestuous voyage of nine days from Wanganui. The vessel encountered a heavy southerly gale in Cool: Strait at the end of Inst week, and was compelled to shelter oft" Cape Campbell. Tim voyage was resumed on Sunday, and the vessel again encountered a terrific southerly gale. She put Into Pigeon Bya on llonday for shelter. The weather moderated on Thursday, and the Breeze then resumed her voyage. Although buffetted by the heavy seas, the ship sustained no damage. WELLINGTON*—PICTON—NELSON SERVICE. In ecnsequeireo of the regulations which necessitate vessels navigating in Cook Strait, doing so.ea far as possible, in daylight, an alteration has been made in the running of the Pateena from Wellington to Pieton and Nelson. She now leaves Wellington on Mondays and Fridays for Nelson and Plcton at 1.30 p.m., and for Plcton only on Wednesdays at the same hour. WELLINGTON—LYTTELTON SEP.VICE. The ferry boat from Wellington for Lyttelton now leaves at 3 p.m. dally, In order to cross Cook Strait before dark.
