GERMAN PLOTTER ARRESTED. Ottawa, July 23. Von Strenc'd, a German agent in America, who is reported to be the Kaiser's half-brother, has been arrested. He is accused of plotting to invade Canada and Mexico with German reservists from the United States, for the purpose of interfering with Canadian and American troops crossing the Atlantic. Von Strench's plans included sending reservists into Canada from Buffalo for the purpose of giving battle at Fort Erie or Bridgetown. A woman with whom Von Strench associated revealed the plot.—Aus.
