EVERYBODY'S. "WOMANHOOD" TO-NIGHT. SPECIAL MATINEE TO-MORROW. The Greater Vitagraph super-spec-season of two nights and one matinee at Everybody's to-night. "Womanhood" is a special appeal to a natior and to point the moral lesson to all deals with one American family. The girl of Alice Joyce, has known a high officer of the invading army before there was any sign of war. She is the sweetheart of an active director of energies, but she conceives it to be her duty to be pleasant to the alien officer, who is ir love with her. Therefore she makes love to him, and, doing so, hinders the activities of the invaders, 'whilst another of the nation's women, with Miss Naomi Childers in the part, becomes s modem Joan of Are, and incites the peopie with the strength to reject the invaders. The scene of this great spectacle is New York, and the producer! have done their best to represent th< scenes of this great city with fidelity "Womanhood" is a most ayropriari title for this Vitagraph: picture, f») though it deals primarily witil the therm of war, it reveals in thrilling fashior the glory of a nation and the streugtl and influence of its women. The on( woman—a. mere girl—sacrifices all hei own heart's desires for the sake of aei country, while the other is strengthened by her nation's need to -use her endeavors to spur on her fellow-men to victory. The many spectacles in "Womanhood" as a picture can scarcely fail to hold the interest of all, for there ib first of all a mighty battle on the sea, then a giant struggle wherein the weakened standing army of America is wiped out. The whole plot is a mighty imagination of what may easily 'happen when the defences of a country are neglected.. Harry Morey is the first figure in this film. "Womanhood" Is well supported. "Womanhood" is being screened at the usual rate of admission. To-morrow afternoon ther« will be a special matinee commencing at 3.15.
