AUSTRALIAN MARKETS. Melbourne, July 19. Barley.—Chevalier malting, 0s 9d to 6s; Cape, 4s 3d to 4s 44 Oats—Algerian, milling 4s 2d to 43 4d, feed 3s lOd to 4s. Potatoes.—£3 15s to £5. Onions.—£ls 10s to £ls 153. ADDINGTON. At the Addlngton market there were small entries In almost all departments. Pat cattle were in fairly good supply, both as to numbers and quality. Prices were firm at lata rates, but several lots were passed, as vendors raised their reserves. The yarding of fat sheep was a very small one, and no more than enough to flu four races. There was a sharp advance In prices, estimated at 5s to 8s psr head on late rates. The few fat hoggets offered also sold well, and store sheep wero in good demand. There was a weaker demand for storo cattle and dairy cows, and fat pigs Bold well, but there was a limited demand for stores. Store Sheep.—Four and six-tooth ewes to 365, six and eight-tooth ewes 38s, two and fourtooth wethers 26s 5d to 32s Id, four and stxtooth wethers 33s Gd, cwo lambs 21s 9d, wether lambs 24s Id, mixed sex lambs L7s Id. < Fat Sheep.—Extra prime wethers to 60s, prime wethers 43s to 50s, lighter wethers 34s 9d to 39s 6d, extra prune ewes 49s Bd, prima ewes 35s to 42s 6d, ltghter ewes 27s to 34s 6d, hoggets 28s to 33s 6d. Tat Cattle.—Extra prune steers to £24 7s 6d, prime steers £lB to £22 ss, ordinary steers £l2 13s 6d to £l7 10s, extra prime heifers to £2l, prime heifers £ls to £l7, ordinary heifers £8 to £l4 10s, prime cows £ls to £lB, ordinary cows £9 to £l4 las. Store Cattle.—Three-year steers to £lO lis, dry cows £5 to £9 7a Cd, calves £3 15s, dairy cows £8 to £2l. Pigs—Choppers £4 10s to £8 lis, baconers £4 10s to £6 13s (equal to B%d per lb), porkers £2 15s to £3 15s (equal to to lOd per lb), medium stores 38s to 445, smaller 28s to 355, weaners 15s to 225. BURNSIDE. At Bumslda 150 fat cattlo were yarded. Owing to the small entry prices were fully 30s higher. Prime heavy bullocks £25 7s, good £2O to £23 12s Cd, others £lO 18s upwards, extra prime heifers £l7 to £l9, prime £l4 10s to £l6. others £lO 10s upwards. Sheep.—l 929 were peuned, a small proportion being prime. These declined Is, while medium dropped Is 6d to 2s. Primo wethers 45s to 50s, medium to good 38s to. 435, light and un- ; finished 32s to 375, extra prime' heavy ewes 49s to 545, prime 42s 6d to 475, medium to good 35s to 40s. Lambs.—2o6 were penned, realising late rates. Extra prime 37s 3d, prime 28s to 30s. 9d, medium 24s 6d to 26s Cd, unfinished 22s 6d up- i wards. i, Pigs.—A medium yarding met keen competition at lata rates.
