APPEALS FOR SCHOOL TEACHERS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, July 18. The Education Board to-day considered a memorandum from the Department suggesting that all Second Division teachers should be appealed for by the boards. It was resolved that the board refrain from appealing for teachers in the meantime. THE JUGOSLAVS' STRIKE. Taumjrunui, July 18. The Jugo-Slavs' strike at Matiere, on the Stratford line, is in the hands of the Crown Solicitor, and informations are to be laid against thirty-four men to appear at Taumanurai.
