JORDAN POSITION RESTORED. .. London, July 15. A Palestine report states: Enemy attacks developed on the 13th and 14th against positions covering the passages of the Jordan and on the Abu Tellul ridgs northward of Jericho . The enemy penetrated our positions about Abu Teltol. The Australians and New Zealanders, counter-attacking, entirely restored the position, taking 400 prisoners. The Indian cavalry dispersed the enemy eastward of the Jordan. The total prisoners are 610, of whom 360 are Germans.—Aua> NA Cable Assoc. laid Reuter.
