At Eltham on Wednesday we had a good yarding, particularly in the dairy pens. Competition for store eattle was good, but for dairy sorts was quiet. At Hawera on Thursday we had a small yarding of store cattle. Sheep came forward in good numbers, and the dairy herd of Messrs Tibbitts Bros, sold exceptionally well, despite the bad weather conditions. Implements and sundries on account of Messrs Tibbitts Bros, all sold well. FARMERSS CO-OP. ORGANISCATION SOCIETY'S REPORT. At Opunake on Satuday we helct a clearing sale on account of Mr. C R. Malcolm. Notwithstanding the very wet day, there was a good attendance of buyers, and everything sold well. Store pigs made 30s to 355, store lambs 21s 6d, horses £4 to £1& The implements and sundries sold at fully ruling rates. At Opunake yards on Saturday we held a clearing sale on account of Mr. W. Wallis. The attendance was good. The cow a were mostly late calvers, and sold at from £S to £l7, store cowa £fi 10s to £8 10s, pedigree Shorthorn bull 41gs, horses £lB. • At Manaia yards on Tuesday there was a fair yarding of store eattle, and close on 80 dairy cows and heifers. Competition for the store cattle was good, and also for dairy cows close to profit. Backward sorts were hard to quit. We quote: Fat cows. £l2 10s to £l3 ss. forward and store cows £7 to £lO 10s,, boners £3 10s to £6 12s, wcaners (mixed sexes) £1 10s to £2 6s Cd. The advertised dairy cows on account of MrD- J. Hughes sold at from £l2 to £2O, | other dairy cows £S to £l2 10s, store j pigs 20s to 3os, porkers £2 165., At Stratford yards on Tuesday there was an average yarding, and prices were the same as at late sales. Forward and storo cows sold at from £7 to £ll, boners £3 15s to £0 10s, dairy cows £8 5s to £lO, weaner steers £3 10s to £4 15s, weaner heifers £2 lis 6d to £2 18s. On Wednesday we held a clearing sale at Hawera yards on account of Mr. J. Barkla. There was a good attendance, and a successful sale was held. Best dairy cows sold at from £lB to £22 10s, others £l2 to £'l7, backward sows £7 10s to £ll. The herd of 102 cows averaged just over £l4. The in-calf heifers made £0 10* to £ll 10s. At Inglewood yards on Wednesday there was a full yarding of stock in all departments, and tho greater portion was disposed of at the following prices: —Ewes in lamb 30s Id, store lambs 19s 4d, cull ewes 10s, forward cows £8 to £9 7s 6d, store cows £6 2s Cd and £7 17s Sd, weaner steers £3 to £5 7s, weaner heifers £2 10s to £3 Ms, dairy cows £9 to £l4, in-calf heifers £« to £lO. At Cardiff on Wednesday held a clearing sale on account of Mr. E. A. Mander. There wag a good attendance, and everything sold Well. The dairy cows madVfrom £l4 to £22 10s, heifers (woaners) £4 6s, horses £2B 10s. • On Thursday we held a clearing sale on account of Mr. E- A. Laurent, Eltham. Prices were on a par with late sales- The best dairy cows soW at £lB 10s to £2O 10s, others £9 to £l7. At Auroa yards on Friday there was a smaller yarding than usual. Prices were good, and everything was sold. Forward cows £8 10s to £ll, store cow* £6 10s to £S ss, boners £3 10s to £fi, weaners (heifers) £1 10s to 3, store j lambs 25s Cd.
