ENEMY DOCKS BOMBED. HALF A TON ON CONSTANTINOPLE. BRIDGE IN BULGARIA DAMAGED. Received July 14, 5.5 p.m. London. July 12. The Press Bureau reports that the air force, co-operating with the navy, from the Bth to the 10th, dropped eight tons of bombs on enemy docks and works, also half a ton on Constantinople on the 7th. The Kuleli Burgas bridge and station in Bulgaria, whereon a quarter of a ton of bombs was dropped recently, was badly damaged.—Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc, and Reuter. THE BRITISH TOLL. ON ENEMY AtRCRAFT. OVER 4000 BROUGHT DOWN. Received July 15, 1.30 a.m. London, July 13. The Press Bureau states that during the year ending June 30, on the West front alone, the British destroyed 2150 aircraft and drove down 1033. The air force, in conjunction with the navy, shot down 623 in the same period, while 1094 of our machines are missing; also 02 of those working with the navy. From April to June, on the Italian front, the British destroyed 165 and drove down 6 machines; thirteen of the British machines are missing. At Salonika, from January to June, they destroyed twenty-one and drove down thirteen. Four British machines are missing. . From March to June, in- Egypt and Palestine, we destroyed 26 and drove down 15; 10 British machines are missing. The British, therefore, during the year, brought down over four thousand aircraft, while our missing machines slightly exceed 1000.—Aus. and N.Z. Cable Association and Reuter. GERMAN AERODROMES BOMBED. Received July 14, 5.5 p.mLondon, July 13. The Air Ministry reports that on the night of July 11, we successfully bombed three aerodromes, causing two fires.
