ANNUAL MEETING; The twentieth annual meeting of the Tarurutangi Co-operative Dairy Company was held at the Tarurutangi Hall on Thursday afternoon, Mr. 0. M. Longstaff (chairman of directors) presiding. The report stated that the sum, o£ £5832 4s 2d had been distributed amongst suppliers. A further SJd per II) of butter-fat had been decided upon, and that would bring the total up to Is Tijd, which was regarded as very satisfactory. The quantity of butter manufactured was 158,95u1b. The average grade was fti.OT. The amount of cream received wa-f &50,A80JH), from which 13t>,5071b of butter-fat was obtained. The running cost of tlie factory was 1.52 d per lb of butter. In moving the adoption of the report, the chairman said the past season had been the most successful the company had known, and the .prospects for the coming year were brighter than at this period last year, and, - provided they were able to get the produco away, ho was satisfied a good price would be commanded. The motion was seconded by Mr. G. Rogers, and carried. After some discussion, it was resolved I to limit tho rate of interest oil all fully-paid-up dry shares to 3 per cent. The retiring directors, Messrs G. M. Longstaff, T. H. Eynon,' and N. B. Bishop, were re-elected unopposed, and Mr. H. Baily was re-elected auditor, Mr. Longstaft' was subsequently re-elected chairman. The chairman was appointed to represent the company at a combined meeting of factory shareholders at Ilawera, to discuss the dried milk question. It was decided that the directors should receive 5s and the chairman 103 for each meeting attended during the current year. Appreciative reference was made to the work of the factory manager (Mr. B.
