ON THE SEA.
BRITISH SUBMARINES ATTACKED. BY ENEMY SEAPLANES. d Received July 10, 8.35 pm. London, July 9. The Admiralty reports that British submarines patrolling the east coast were attacked on the afternoon of the 6th by five enemy seaplanes with bombs and machine-gun fire. One submarine suffered only slight damage, and was towed to harbor by another submarine. One officer and five men were killed.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assoc, and Reutar.
