The late Mr. Stevenson had been dairying for some years past, and went in for the best cows obtainable. These cattle originated from the herd of Mr. J. Stevenson (sen.), who has been! breeding a milking strain of Shorthorns for the past twenty years. He also culled heavily every year, and we recommend the cows to intending buyers as being a first-class lot. All the cows are in calf to a pedigree milking strain Shorthorn bull.
