LOADED TRANSPORT ATTACJKED BY U-jBOATS. Received July 9, 11.45 p.m. Ottawa, July » News received at an Atlantic port states that a loaded American transport was attacked by eight U-boats in the Bay of Biscay. Two of the U-boats were sunk by shellfire. The Norwegian vessel Augvald was torpedoed and gunk in mid-Atlantic. Three >»cre drowned and thirteen are misaing.—Press Assoc.
