LAST WEEK'S RETURNS. The returns from the New Plymouth tramways for last week show a slight improvement on those for the corresponding period of last year. In the iy 17 period tho passengers numbered 23,534, and the revenue earned was £167 3s Sd. Following are the details of last week's returns:
