Sir James Allen stateß that the 'National Efficiency Board has agreed to the publication of the amount Of compensation the board had considered sufficient to purchase the liquor traffic in the terms of the proposal that the State .should close clown the traffic and pay compensation. The amount assessed by the boaTd as the value o f the traffic was four millions and a-balf.
