Residents of Toko Road rolled up strongly last night to farewell Mr. Mrs., and Miss T. Bocock, who, after farming some years there, are now shifting camp for Inglewood. During their stay this family has assisted in many ways to make life in the small places endurable, consequently it was no surprise to iearn that those who knew them best were aorry to hear of their departure. To commemorate their stay, and also to serve as a memento, the settlers tendered the departing guests a farewell social, during which a very acceptable tea service (inscribed)—"To Mr- -and Mrs. Bocock, from Toko Road settlers, July, 1918]'— was presented by Mr. Bayly. Musical items were contributed by Misses Maunsell and Coope, whilst the music for the dance was played by Mrs. Maunsell, Mr. F. Clarke earning out the dutiee of M-O.
