GREY ELECTION PETITION.
AGAINST RETURN OF HOLLAND, - By Telegraph.—Press Association. &* Greymouth, Yesterday. An election petition has been filed with the returning officer for the district of Grey against the return ol Mr. Holland, various grounds being alleged, the principal being that a large number of persons who voted did not reside in the Grey district for six months previous to the election. If all the allegations are proved, it is within the power of the Electoral Court to declare the petitioner, T. G. Coates, elected member for Grey, and, there would be no need for a fresh election.
