DOMINION WINTER SHOW.
PEOPLE'S DAY. A RECORD CROWD. Fine weather prevailed for "People's Day" at the Hawera Dominion Show, and the huge buildings were thronged throughout the day and evening with a happy crowd, including numbers of visitors from a distance, and expressions of appreciation were heard on all sides at the excellence of the show and the completeness of its arrangements. Judging of the dog section was commenced early by the judge (Mr. A. T. Moore, of New Plymouth), who carried out his task with promptitude, his decisions finding general favor. The competitors were not very numerous, but some fine specimens were shown. The Ladies' Bracelet was won by a handsome rough-coated Collie, owned by Mrs. 6. M. Beere, of Waverley. Detailed results:
