STUD SHEEP SALESReceived' July 3, 9.5 p.m. Sydney, July S. A world's record was reached at the stud sheep sales, when Mr. Maurice Collins, South Australia, paid 3000 guineas for the Merino stud ram Prince Charlie, which fetched 2000 guineas a few years back. Mr. Collins also purchased stud ewes to the extent of 2555 guineas. A Deniliquin Merino ram fetched 410 guineas. THE NEXT LOAN. Received July 4, 12.55 a.m. Melbourne. July 3. It ia officially announced that although tfce terms of the" next loan will be announced next month, subscriptions wil] not be asked for until lateT in tV.e year. The Goverment has no intention of departing from the Treasurer's statement not to exceed two loans in the one year. RETAIL PRICES OF MEAT. Melbourne, July 3. The Government has fixed the cash re'tail prices of meat in the various centres, baaed on export parity.
