A Royal commission has been appointed to inquire into the conduct of Mr. J. J. G. McGirr, member for Yaas, in connection with the Government acquisition of the North-west Coma estate.—Press Association.
STUD SHEEP SALES. Received July 2, 10.5 p.m. Sydney, July 2. At the stud sheep sales there was keener competition for Merino stud rams. Two Boonoks fetched CSO and 550 gnß. The Haddon Rig stud topped 440 guineas, four averaging 351 guineas. Border Leicester stum ram lambs, on behalf of Doutlnvaite, averaged 18 guineas; ewe lambs 14 guineas.
