IRELAND.
MABSEVS RECRUITING APPEAL.
London, July 1
Mr. Massey, in a message to the Irish recruiting council, appeals to the Irishmen who have not yet risen to a sense of their duty in the great struggle for civilisation. He says that this is not a time to keep up sectional grievances and differences; it is a time for all Irishmen to remember the honor of their country and to remember their gallant countrymen who have made the supreme sacrifice. Mr. Massey urges them to join the ranks of the Allies.—Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc.
