Barnett: 10 dairy cows (good) NOTE.—The above herd are a very choice lot, being well conditioned and good types of dairy cows. McVXNNIE, who is giving up dairying owing to her son going to the front, to sell as above by public auction, WITHOUT RESERVE: CHOICE DAIRY COWS, mostly July and August calvers; 20 of these are coming to their 2nd season, aro by pedigree Jersey bull Undecided, and have been reared on farm; balance are mostly young Jersey-cross cows 9 2-year springing heifers by Undecided 18 yearling heifers by Undecided 1 yearling steer 1 pedigree Jersey bull Undecided (No. 2182, N.ZJ3LB.), six years next September, and bred by Messrs. A. and J. O'Donnell, Rosy Creek, Inaha. 1 young Jersey bull, bred by Mr. Cowling, Manaia 2 half-draught geldings, quiet, all harness 1 half-draught mare, quiet, all harness 1 hack mare 17 fat lambs 6 sows McCormick grass mower (new and in good order), Deering grass mower, Adriance hay rake, set steel disc harrows, set tine harrows, tripod harrows, si. plough, milk waggon (carry 15 cans), spring tip dray, longshafter gig, rubber tyred (slight reserve), No. 2 Brown vacuum pump (slight reserve), 40 posts, 0-cow releaser plant and 4J-kp. Eagle oil engine (slight reserve), 1 cwt. barbed wire, 2cwt. plain wire, wire rope, harness, chains, milk cans, buckets, 15 sheets iron (Oft), piping, spouting and down pipe, coppers, Douglas lever pump (will pump 1000 gallons water per hour), and numerous sundries. NOTE.—The above herd has been very heavily culled each year, and is now up to a standard to suit the present owner. The latter did not expect to sell out this season, but owing to her son having gone to the front she was compelled to quit. There are only two or three cows in the herd that can be called aged, but being good milkers they werf kept.
