A BITTER STRUGGLE. Received .July 1, 7.")0 p.m. London, June 30. Italian oilicial: Supported by our Allies, xvo captured .Monte Valbelia on June after a hitter struggle. Largtj masses of the enemy counter-attacked, but were repulsed, their infantry being decimated by our artillery and aeroplanes. and the position was held. We took prisoner twenty-one oflicers and 7SS men belonging to four divisions. We also captured cannons, trench mortars, and maclune-guns. We captured a fortified post on the southern.slopes of Sassorosso.
