THE EMPIREKENTUCKY CINDERELLA." One of the' popular Blue Bird features, entitled "A Kentucky Cinderella/' will bead the new programme showing at Tho Empire tonight. It is a vigorous story of a Callfornian mining camp in the days when every man was a law unto himself. There is plenty of nervettullling action during the story, and also a sweet love idyll. There are several good supporting films, including a topical gazette.
j EVERYBODY'S. 'LAST NIGHT OP "THE ADVENTURES OS* . CAROL." Madge Evans delighted and amused her countless admirers at Everybody's on Saturday night in the sparkling World film, "The Adventures of Carol." The picture introduces much of clever comedy with some realistic navsl scenes. It is a likeable picture, and should draw another full house to-night, when It will be shown, for the last time. The fourth episode of "The Neglected Wife" will also be screened for the last time to-night.

'TOLLY OF THE CIRCUS/' i That fascinating little celebrity, Mae Marsh, is the suu* of the gru.il (.ioldwyn production, "Polly of the Circus," which starts a twonight season to-morrow. This is a tremendous spectacle with a beautiful story running through it. Probably no film can command such a wide rangu of appeal since it will be aa delightful to children, on account of the actual circus displays which it reproduces, as it will be fascinating to adults, by reason of the compelling heart interest and thrilling episodes. Tolly, left motherless, Is reared by an old clown named Toby as a circus girl. During one of her ilarlng ball-back stunts she has a 1 fall, and Ss : left behind In a small town. It chances that < the house sho was taken to when Injured was ,the residonco of the young minister, John fyouglas. As Tolly is sixteen and beautiful, am'! tho minister twenty-five and a bachelor, scandal soon gets busy. Thus a pretty romance becomes a tragedy, for Polly is driven by scheming! busy-bodies to leave the town without a word to the man she loves. She returns to the circus, anrl tho circus returns to the town, and happiness returns to two loving heart-} The whole production is on a gorgeous seals', and is an example of perfect photography. One of the most amazing scenes Is tho burning of tho big circus tent, and the stampede of the audience, while tne racecourse scene where Po-y, in a thrilling race, rides the winning honv, holds the audience breathleas. Mae Marsh is a most lovable heroiue ; in this great drains., and more than lives up to the reputation slic made in "Tho Birth of a Nation" and "Intolerance." "Polly of the Circus" will bo showfo on Tuesday and Wednesday only, and at a smocial matinee on Wednesday afternoon, cdtorajencing at 3.15 p.m. The box plan Is at Colllei's, and patrons wtra seats withdat'extra^"^'
