THE "WIZARD" LIGHT. WHY IT EXCELS.
Over four thousand complete "Wizard" Lighting Systems have been sold in New Zealand during the past four years, and if all the country houses, stores, churches, banks, post offices, etc., fitted with "Wizard" Light were brought together they would form a city of about 24,000 population. Before the advent of the "Wizard" Light, kerosene lamps and acetylene ga3 were in general use, but up-to-date country householders and storekeepers find that the "Wizard" gives them a superior light to city coal gas at much less cost, and they are entirely independent of gas or coal strikes. The great, success of the "Wizard" Light has produced the usual crop of imitators, but "Wizard" Lamps are patented, and cannot be copied. Fifteen years ago "Wizard" Lamps required a torch dipped in methylated spirit to start them, but the up-to-date "Wizard" Lamp lights with a match, and is almost as easy to light as town gas. The "Wizard" is the only hollow wire lighting syßtem on the market that is fitted With lamps that will light with a match, and have automatic needles to keep the jets clean. The others are all made on the obsolete design discarded by the "Wizard" years ago. They require an asbestos torch dipped in methylated spirit to light them, and the jet must be pricked with a special needle, just the same as a primus stove. If the methylated spirit bottle is empty the lamps are useless. To light the "Wizard" lamp, all that is necessary is to strike a match, hold it to the generator for a few seconds, then turn on the light. "Wizard" Lamps are specified for use in all new country post offices, wireless stations, etc; large numbers of lamps are also used by the Railway Depart-1 ment, military authorities, banks, halls, churches, etc., throughout the Dominion. In fact, the "Wizard" Light ia recognised as the most up-to-date and efficient medium of country and suburban house lighting in New Zealand. Householders should write to Mr. H. H. Blake, P.O. Box 63, Eltham ('Phone 129), for full partculara and prices of the wonderful "Wizard" befor# being persuaded that some other light is "just as good." Complete two-light plants £l7; each additional light £2 17a 6tL D. '"PERFECTION" The art tie Banquet in on occasion war HunU t the functions
